Get still & listen

by | Nov 1, 2024

Have you ever tried to send an email, and then realize that you’re not actually connected to the internet?
Yeah, me too.

How often do we do that in real life? What I mean is, do we try to do hard things without being connected to our own power source, operating from the outside in, rather than from the inside out?
Kind of like running a Mac with PC software…

I found myself doing this earlier this week.

I was having a somewhat urgent dental situation and seeking a new doctor.

Feeling a little off-center with the ongoing discomfort, I sent out a flurry of text messages. I booked consults. I researched. I had a multitude of scans and opinions, and when I thought I had found the best person to help me, he ghosted me.
Twice.

And so I thought to myself, Okay, Valentyne, get still and listen. I drove to the beach and released all of my ick and stress into the ocean. This is my happy place. So I proceeded to frolic and swim and invite my whole being into a deep state of joyful relaxation.
For we need to be both empty and relaxed to fully receive.

That evening, M asked me what I was going to do. My response, Nothing. I don’t have all the information yet. I’m waiting for guidance.
That night, I had a dream about my old dentist’s office and working with a dentist within the practice that I had never met or even seen in person.

I went to their website, and there she was. Upon calling their office, the receptionist kindly wanted to book me in with my original dentist who had zero availability. I asked about the woman in my dream. She wasn’t available either, except that as we were on the phone, a cancellation came in for the next morning.

When there is space and receptivity, a way will appear.

Everything opened up. I ended up spending seven and a half hours at my dentist’s office, including taking over the consult room for an important meeting that I had in the middle of the day. I drove home that evening feeling confident, relaxed, restored and with a much happier mouth. She designed a protocol that made much more sense to me and I received the best bedside manner I’ve ever experienced from a professional. I am confident that without all of this, I’d still be spinning, running from one dental office to the next.

Release what’s in your way.
Relax and realign your nervous system.
Get ready to receive.
Because You know what?
What You want is already here,
waiting for You.

Send me a field report. I love to read them.

Love + Magic,

Amber
